A lovely old pine blanket chest, with its original ‘penny-end’ strap hinges, and a carrying handle on both ends. It very nice condition for its age (Circa: 1910), the top having been slightly repaired (trip around the edge).

The plinth (at the bottom) runs all the way around (including the back), and the back is also tidy, so could easily be put in the middle of the room, and used as a coffee table (for example).
