A late 1800’s old pine blanket chest, in good condition for its age c.1890. Stripped, restored and waxed to a very nice colour tone - Honey Briwax.

It has a flat top, so is useful if being used as a stand or coffee table. It has its original strap hinges, carrying handles, and candle box (inside the chest) all in good working order.
