Pine desks for sale

Below you can see all of the pine desks, writing tables, Secretaires, and Bureaus we currently have for sale. Most of which are genuine antique pieces.

Please take note of the ‘knee room’ (the space below the desk) to ensure this is high enough for you to sit at/get your legs under. Please ask if this measurement is not shown.

You may like the top of the desk to be varnished (before waxing). This will ensure it is more protective than just having a wax finish.

When restored, the drawers will be sliding nicely. Any doors will have working locks and keys but some keys may be missing from the drawers. If having a working lock and key for a drawer is a requirement please let us know.

Most of our desks are genuine old pieces, some Victorian, some from Eastern Europe, but we do occasionally have reproductions for sale. As with all of our furniture, we display its age to avoid any confusion, together with dimensions and price. We also make it clear if the piece is waxed or in the bare wood. If it is in the bare wood and you would like to purchase it as it is please let us know and we will reduce the price accordingly.

All of these desks can be seen in our warehouse in Haddenham, Bucks, 35 mins from Oxford, just an hour from London.

We can also make simple pine desks from new pine, to any size, with drawers and/or cupboard doors.

Large Handmade Architect's Table With Mahogany Top - (T44082)

A large handmade Architects table, with a painted base and an old mahogany sloping writing top. The base is made from old pine boards painted in Farrow & Ball ‘Breakfast Room Green’.

There are two large drawers in the top with brass cup handles.

The knee room height is currently 26", to allow for a stool to be used. The table can be lowered if you wish to use this as a desk with a standard height chair - please let us know of your requirements.
